Telmap Twitter Q&A session - Summary

Last week we hosted a Twitter Q&A following the launch of our new Blackberry app in the UK. As you will see from the selection of Tweets below we saw some key themes emerging. This included interest in our ultra-local content in the UK.  We are pleased be working  with local and global brands such as Barclays Cycle Hire and Trip Advisor and we are still growing this list.   Another theme that was visible throughout the Twinterview was location-based advertising and premium content.  We also see these as really important features to bring to the application to create the best experience possible for BlackBerry users.

@mobilesquared Our LBA strategy is about offering the right thing at the right time in the right place.

@sophiecharara yes, you can save home and work locations under my places section as well as create a shortcut to your device home screen

@Telmap What competition (appetition :-) ) do you think the app will face from rival app providers?

@Telmap What level of BB user penetration/what level of repeat usage do you anticipate?
@mobilesquared #telmapnavigator we are aiming at being the no. 1 nav app for #Blackberry users with 15-20% penetration and 40% repeat usage
